Adi Balasubramanian is a Vancouver-based artist born and raised in Mumbai, India. He works as a Software Engineer and holds a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon University, while actively pursuing his lifelong passion for painting. Working primarily en plein air, he paints waterfronts, city streets, and quiet human scenes inspired by both Mumbai’s Arabian Sea and Vancouver’s Pacific coast. Influenced by the balance of urban life and green spaces in both cities, his work invites viewers to pause, reflect, and reconnect with places that feel like home.
